Sunday Worship Schedule: 8:00am, 10:15am, 5:00pm. (Child-care is available at the 8am and the 9:30am services only). 

This Sunday, "Rally Sunday": Join us for breakfast provided by the Men's Group, between the morning services at 9:15am in the fellowship hall.  Remember to register your children for Sunday school.  See sign-up table on the patio. 

Welcome to Barb Collins:  We thank Barb Collins for leading our Sunday school!  She will be in charge of our preschool - elementary Sunday school program; the Sunday school Christmas program; and other happenings related to that age group.  Not only is Barb and her family very involved at Gloria Dei, Barb is a teacher by profession and works for Cal State Fullerton supervising teachers.  With her background and many strengths, we are thrilled for her to join our team!  You can contact Barb at sundayschool@mygloriadei.org.

Weekly Thank You Report: Thanks to all our teachers--Sunday school, Confirmation, Youth, Small Groups, etc.--your dedication is greatly appreciated!  You are planting seeds of faith and hope.  Our education staff and leaders will be "commissioned" on Sunday, September 12, 10:15am service.  Thank you!  (Each week we'll have a thank you report, if you have someone to nominate, please email the church office: gloriadei@mygloriadei.org.)

11:01 - Luke 11:01 reads, "Lord, teach us to pray..."  All members and friends of Gloria Dei are encouraged to pause and pray at 11:01 am or pm.  This would be a simple moment of prayer wherever you find yourself: a thanksgiving, confession, request, the Lord's Prayer, etc.  As a congregation, we will keep 11:01 going until our Prayer Vigil (Saturday, September 11).  Gloria Dei prays!
