Educational Opportunities Gloria Dei offers many different opportunities for adults to grow in their faith.  These groups vary in terms of time, subject, and size.  Listed below are a few opporutnities. Sunday Morning Adult Education (Meets in the Sanctuary at 9:15am) The Bethel Bible Series (A 2 year overview of the Bible and meets on Thursday evenings.) Early Morning Breakfast Study (Meets the First and Third Tuesday of each month at 7am) Men's Breakfast Bible Study (2nd Saturday of each month, 8am) Women's Wednesday Bible Study (Meets every Wednesday at 10am) Heart-Lifters (Women's Bible Study meets the 2nd & 4th Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm in member's homes.) Other Opportunities: Gloria Dei offers many other "special occassion" speakers/teachers/leaders that speak in a large group setting.  The themes of these large gatherings vary depending upon the expertise of the speakers.  Past speakers include: Dr. Dick Hardel (Director of Augsburg College's Youth and Family Program); Dr. J. Ellsworth Kalas (Presdient of Asbury Theological Seminary); Dr. George Forell (Professor Emeritus, University of Iowa); and many others.        Gift Groups (Growing in Faith Together) Gift Groups! Our GIFT groups continue to meet this year with a variety of Bible study themes.  Two groups are studying the Book of Proverbs while another will be finishing their series on the Book of Acts.  Study books are available at each group gathering or check with one of the pastors.   Please check the church newsletter or Sunday worship bulletin for current meeting dates and locations.
