Educational Opportunities Gloria Dei offers many different opportunities for adults to grow in their faith.  These groups vary in terms of time, subject, and size.  Listed below are a few opportunities. Sunday Morning Adult Education (Meets in the Sanctuary at 9:40am) Walk Thru the New Testament (An upcoming intensive two-day event, January 7-8, 2012.) Early Morning Breakfast Study (Meets the First and Third Tuesday of each month at 7am) Men's Breakfast Bible Study (2nd Saturday of each month, 8am) Women's Wednesday Bible Study (Meets every Wednesday at 10am) Heart-Lifters (Women's Bible Study meets on selected Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm in member's homes.) Other opportunities: Gloria Dei offers many other "special occasion" speakers/teachers/leaders that speak in a large group setting.  The themes of these large gatherings vary depending upon the expertise of the speakers.  Past speakers include: Dr. Dick Hardel (Director of Augsburg College's Youth and Family Program); Dr. J. Ellsworth Kalas (Presdient of Asbury Theological Seminary); Dr. George Forell (Professor Emeritus, University of Iowa); and many others. Gift Groups (Growing in Faith Together) Gift Groups! Our GIFT groups continue to meet this year with a variety of Bible study themes.  One group is beginning their series on the Book of Ecclesiastes, another will be studying Life Principles of New Testament Men of Faith, and another is looking at the writings of C.S.
