Dear Gloria Dei family,

Have you enjoyed the Carillon Bell Tower  as much as I have?

There’s something about the pealing of bells – whether it’s calling people to worship on Sunday morning or counting off the hours during the week – beautiful!

And now, I believe the time when the bells ring is actually accurate! Getting things set and operating smoothly is a process.  We’re getting there.

That’s true for everything. And while we did just received our final Certificate of Occupancy, there are still things to work out. It’s a process.  Be patient.
And give thanks that we can hear the bells. This Sunday, you can write a name of a loved one to be mentioned in the prayers on “All Saints’ Sunday” – November 5. Go to the Welcome Table, fill out the form and place it in the basket there. On November 5, the

bells will toll , giving thanks to God for those saints that have “finished the race.”

Yours in Christ,

Pastor David

P.S. On Reformation Sunday, the bells will toll “A Mighty Fortress!”
